Whistl, the UK’s leading delivery management company, has today announced a renewed 5-year partnership with leading connected vehicle technology supplier Isotrak Group. A customer since 2014, Whistl has been utilising Isotrak’s Vehicle tracking, Job Management and Driver Performance modules to improve fleet efficiency, which has already resulted in significant year-on-year MPG improvements and a six-figure fuel cost saving for Whistl.
On the back of this success, Whistl will implement Isotrak’s market-leading integrated multi-camera solution and ePOD technology. These complementary technologies will improve Whistl’s fleet productivity and safety along with increasing customer service levels. Whistl’s existing telematics hardware will also be upgraded to Isotrak’s new all-in-one tracking and telematics device, which will also deliver cost savings, but additionally will reduce installation times and enable seamless software updates.
After a successful trial, Whistl will be installing their 285-vehicle fleet of HGVs and LCVs with Isotrak’s VL5500 multi-camera DVR solution, providing live streaming video of both road and in-cab footage enhancing fleet efficiency and safety whilst helping protect drivers and reduce insurance premiums. Whistl will also look to deploy Isotrak’s all-in-one Driver Connect ePOD application in a move towards a fully integrated paperless proof of delivery and fleet management solution. The in-cab solution will provide the drivers with full end-to-end job details with integrated navigation, bespoke workflows and sign-on-glass capabilities.
